How to be responsable

In my personal opinion I dont'understood the whole idea.I thought the class will go together from the school . It is my fault because I dint' pay attention .I was planning to go a museum in my community with Rossanna. But after I went to my doctor's appoiment I had to change my plan This is not an excuse you are right when you told us about not folowing the rules . We supposedto do because we are adult College students.

I miss my school in the spring break vacation

I return to school today after Spring break vacation. My vacation was not good at all because my daughter was very sick and me too. I suppose to go to any cultural institution but the time and the circumstance maintain me out the service. The most interesting thing was Josh levy who is working in some kind of movie about immigration was in my home. I had a good time he interview me about all tradition in my country and how I feeling to be here in the US.

Immigants we are the best

Immigrants are still fighting for they rights. Approximating 125,000 people in a big protest come together in downtown Manhattan. I was very surprise about to how the people answered to this manifestation. Women, children, Americans, were protesting yesterday about immigrants right to stay in U.S.

Illegal Inmigration

I am very worried about illegal immigration just because they don’t have their green card or social security card we not suppose to ignore them. These people are very hard workers and they support the economy in this country. I am resident of theUS now. But sometimes is very hard for me to get something like insurance. I am concerned about how the Homeland Security is treating the immigrant like criminals after 911. Everything changes after that day and everyone is suffering the consequences. The immigrants are part of the history when the Dutch came to this country. I understand the some immigrants’ backgrounds are not good at all but the majority came to realize the American dreams and support their family in their native country. I hope anyone think about the immigration and imagine be in the shoes of illegal immigrants.

When I came to this country

For me the most difficult aspect of immigrating to this country was when I separated from my family. Especially from my son and mother they stayed there in The Dominican Republic. Another big problem for me was the language at first. Because when I came I live in Pennsylvania in 1991. In my neighborhood almost all spoke English and the big problem came out when I have to buy something. Only a few people in neighborhood spoke Spanish.
In my case deal with the Government agency was very normal part like any kind of process. Sometimes you have to wait a lot and others time you did a first. The delays in this kind of government agency are very common usually. Remember if you go to a doctor office you have to wait such as post office, social security office and many more offices.
To compare this kind of services in my country is hard to talk about that because the situation there is very critical. But if you have money you don’t have to worry a lot because the money you possibly will buy all you want to. You paid and you go home happy with all the documents in your hand over.
